FOI Request Tracker

On March 29, 2020, the Right to Know, Right Now! Coalition sent a public Freedom of Information (FOI) Request to the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) and the implementers of the National Action Plan to combat COVID-19, as well as specific requests to the Departments of Health, Labor and Employment, Social Welfare and Development, and Agriculture on April 6, 2020.

A public FOI request means that these data/information shall be posted and published in publicly accessible platforms and included in relevant daily briefings of government; and the data/information to be in open-data, machine-readable format.

The FOI Request Tracker on Government’s COVID-19 Response and Operations:

1. Monitors whether the requested data/information are publicly made available, and gives relevant notes including the links and brief comments on the completeness, timeliness, format, etc. of the information.

2. Checks for updates & new releases even as situation is fluid & thus recognizes that items requested may be partially released at best, as long as posted/published in official or government publication.

3. Tracks useful data/info from other public & private entities; with links to the relevant sources.

4. Gives a Summary Update on Tuesdays by EOB, flagging important points & highlights. We may not necessarily be able to give full analysis of data.

Please help us update the Tracker; alert us to new releases we may miss, point us to private initiatives gathering and interpreting government data. Leave comments and provide links to documents we will process, verify, and upload to the Tracker. You may also download but not edit.

Maraming salamat po!
